Sooo... Windows on ARM kinda rocks?

I wanted a media device upgrade and went for a Surface Pro 11 and after many years of Windows 2-in-1s having a Windows tablet that just... turns on like a phone and goes to sleep like a phone and has 10 hours of screen-on battery like a phone is weirdly cool and slightly surreal.

I don't know that I think it makes as much sense for a working laptop or a desktop replacement, but the Surface Pro specifically it's a no-brainer.

@MudMan
We keep parroting this lame talking point in tech reviews:
"Tablets are solutions in search of problems"
But really, the thing holding back tablets has been actual desktop grade productivity software.
Now we have a MUCH better performance per watt solution to put a proper desktop OS into a slate form factor, it's exciting to see a slate machine be A LOT MORE useful.
The next year should be REALLY fun.

@SomeGadgetGuy The only reason I didn't pull the trigger on the M-series iPads is Apple's stupid decision to lock them to iPadOS (and/or to not make a touchscreen MacBook Air).

Samsung Dex is alright, but it's no full Win11. I don't see any reason to buy any other ultrabook or tablet device until Apple gets the memo or Samsung starts making Galaxy Tabs with Windows.

It took a while, but someobdy finally figured it out, and nobody will know because MS is SO bad at marketing.

@MudMan LOL spot on.
MS gonna snatch failure from the jaws of victory yet again...
