It's a crapshoot as to whether it will actually get accepted (I've found that 30% of my pokemon go nominations get rejected, for no reasons that I can discern) but I might do it anyway

Fun but unrelated fact: I was once poorly hypnotized on a park bench in front of this exact pond by someone I met through FetLife (because uh I like hypnosis & was meeting potential hypnosis partners) and he was hurt when I suggested some things he did that didn't work for me, and we never spoke again.

@TheOtherDibbler I didn't intend to stay out so long! I was just going to go to Lino's cafe & then come home. But the CBD locations were much closer together than I realized. And then before I knew it, I'd run out of phone battery & had to come home whoops.

@skymeong I should probably clarify: hypnosis works most effectively when the subject wants it to.
So if the hypnotist isn't very good, the subject either won't go into trance or won't go especially deep.
In this case, the subject (me) is pretty good at going into trance because the subject um really really enjoys it, but a bit of their mind will still be alert & paying attention & taking mental notes of the things that aren't working, & also making sure nothing shifty happens.

@eyebrowofdoom oh yes it was similar to that. Except that he wrote a blog post about how good he was, and i was the one disputing his account. Which was uh not exactly diplomatic of me and I probably should've provided feedback in a private message whoops

@skymeong they filmed in late summer so the light would have been very different. And I suspect they did a fair bit of color correction. I don't *think* they painted it...? That building's pretty well-known & has been kind of buff-colored for as long as I can remember.
