I've done many pointless things in my life, but none so satisfying as finding this exact tree that #Seungmin sat leaning against, and leaning against it myself.
Bringing home a stick that had fallen from that tree seemed like the sort of silly thing that I might be embarrassed about later. But I'm so not.
Watching this video again, and looking up from my laptop to the Vegemite jar on my bookshelf that contains the stick from Seungmin's tree, and I'm full of joy about it.

Partly because the MV was filmed where I live in #Melbourne, and it has a Melbourne-in-summer vibe. It's a sad song about the 2019-2020 bushfire season, but it's also hopeful.

There are many things I love about this song and video. One of the silliest things is how the Aussies taught the other members that beach cricket exists, but no-one seems to have any actual familiarity with cricket. So #Felix is bowling underarm (a big no-no in cricket, although technically allowed), and #Seungmin's holding the cricket bat as though it's a baseball bat.

I can see a stay sitting at a cafe opposite, and a few stay have walked past, but they didn't seem aware of the skz connection.

BUT. Met some stay on the tram on the way here, shared my #skzFNF locations map with them, and they just came up as I was writing this 😂 ... But one of them is gluten intolerant, and this place only sells gluten foods.
Anyway they said that earlier today there was a line down the block of stay wanting the Channie's bagel place experience. So: I have good timing??

The STICK is now propped up in an empty vegemite jar while I contemplate what to do with it next.
I'm thinking probably glass vessel that I can attach to my gallery wall. It will be a good shape to add variety among all those rectangular frames, too.
