In the hot summer in the South, I always feel that the people who live on the coast of Oregon are some of the luckiest people on Earth.

This little town, Oceanside, is near where the Tillamook Ice Cream comes from. What a wonderful place especially in summer.

Oddly, we also live in a Tsunami Evacuation Zone. There was a big earthquake in Charleston in 1886. The Oregon situation sounds worse. We're just on a typical fault line AFAIK.
