Brendan NelsonIn group chats with "[user] is typing" notifications, I often type messages out elsewhere then paste and send, so that I can agonise over the phrasing in private.
But I also don't want it to be obvious what I'm doing, so I always leave an interval between the paste and the send. Others would then assume I typed the message out like a normal person.
Just now I was doing this and wondered if this is a common thing and, if so, if there was a word for it?
