I've spent some time in the US and in Finland. Both countries are so different on extroversion / introversion.

Here in the US, I have to talk on the phone to people to get anything done; in Finland, when I wanted to do complicated things, I just had to type things to someone (I even got my dog's import health stuff sorted without ever speaking to a person).

As an ambi-vert, I like a mix of both.

Interesting fact: in China, introverts call themselves 'spiritually Finnish'

@skinnylatte I went to a course in Latvia a few years ago, and one of the fellow students was a Swede who was happy to sit alone. Some folks felt bad and tried to involve him in conversation. He was not unhappy, and just said "There's no reason to risk a stupid talk when you are enjoying a good quiet".

Sounds like wisdom to me.
