There is a very subtle animation that plays when you press the physical buttons on your phone in iOS 18. It’s *very* subtle, but kinda cool.

Posted this over on Threads as well, and it's blowing up, but some folks are so damn grumpy 🙃

@matt Nothing on an iPad mini though. Maybe OLED-only, but probably iPhone only.

@matt I give it six months before that blows up on tick tack cause someone thinks their phone / buttons are broken…

@matt I just tried this myself and it even pushes UI elements like scrollbars out of the way.
