Christian Sigritz@stroughtonsmith I really really hoped, that developers could use the LLM directly via a prompt. I think so many great apps will never appear, because the developers are afraid of costs when using OpenAI, Gemini, … When there is a local LLM available on the device: i wanna use it.
Matt Clarke@csigritz @stroughtonsmith I was banking on this on-device API, for both text and image. Got a small recipe generating app where monetisation to cover OpenAI fees doesn’t really make sense
