Today 210 Palestinians were killed and 400 more were maimed during the rescue operation of four hostages.

Remember that Israel could have had all the hostages back on October 8th, but refused to.

The US and UK provided the logistic support.

@Migueldeicaza It was strange watching the reports on CNN and other networks and seeing news anchors report on it. The impression I have is that they know it is terrible but that they are trapped and cannot do anything about it.
@shaneoc just had dinner with friends that had only heard about the rescue - apparently the death toll was not being reported outside of Twitter

How many headlines fail to even mention that hundreds of Palestinian refugees were killed in this operation?

@Migueldeicaza Yeah it makes no sense. Much of the media seems to exclusively report the Israeli side.

Personally I am watching a lot of Al Jazeera to get the best reporting. Israel has now actually killed several of their reporters during this conflict in order to stop their reporting. Maybe this is one reason the other networks tend to take the Israeli view.

Stunning to see Western leaders celebrate the rescue of 4 Israeli hostages WITHOUT ANY mention of the 100+ Palestinians killed in the operation. 🧵with statements:

@Migueldeicaza Wow, it's strange reading all the responses from all the world leaders, they are all so uniform.

If you read about Israel's AI system for selecting targets, it appears they have some system of mass surveillance that is required in order for it to operate:

If there is a system that includes surveilling the world leaders, maybe someone either has blackmail information on all of them, or the system was used to help people get elected who would do this.

‘Lavender’: The AI machine directing Israel’s bombing spree in Gaza

The Israeli army has marked tens of thousands of Gazans as suspects for assassination, using an AI targeting system with little human oversight and a permissive policy for casualties, +972 and Local Call reveal.
