@jensorensen Weird. I took a year out from Uni in California and worked in a factory near Burlington NC. I went there because I was a fan of southern rock-and-roll. It was a working class community, there was a mixed-race couple among my friends, and there was plenty of marijuana circulating among younger households. And there was the music.

I went back to visit a decade ago, and the area was all tract homes, with a Walmart nearby that had bankrupted the local supermarket.
