Bloomberg - Are you a robot?

@caseyliss I want this to be THEE Passwords App so bad but I’m afraid I’m going to be let down. 1Password for all of its flaws it’s still more painless than trying to use Keychain.
@jxmullins Not to me. It’s gotten so bad that I switched back to Keychain. And I’m a family plan user with my wife and two kids on it. So many bugs, and crashes even on Chrome and Firefox.
@javier I’ve read plenty of people having the same issues and for some reason my use cases haven’t encountered the issues. (Will probably happen in 24 hours now!). I may not be pushing its limits but I’m also on family plan with same amount of people. What’s the odds that Apple makes it cross platform to Win and Linux?
@jxmullins @javier I believe passwords are already accessible in the Windows iCloud app: https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9pktq5699m62
iCloud - Official app in the Microsoft Store

With the redesigned iCloud for Windows app, you can access photos, files, passwords, and other important information from your iPhone or other Apple devices on your Windows PC. iCloud Photos • Access and view your iCloud photos directly in the Microsoft Photos app in Windows 11. • Keep your photos up to date across all your devices and your PC. • Create Shared Albums and invite others to add photos, videos, and comments. iCloud Drive • Access your files and folders from iCloud Drive directly in File Explorer. • Share files and sync updates back to iCloud Drive automatically. iCloud Passwords • Easily login to websites with the user names and strong passwords that you’ve saved to iCloud Keychain. • Access your passwords and save new ones in the iCloud Passwords app. • When you’re logging in to websites, the iCloud Passwords extension in Chrome or Edge autofills passwords and saves new ones. • Generate verification codes to help you sign in to websites. iCloud Contacts, Calendars, and Bookmarks • View your iCloud calendars and contacts in Outlook. • Sync and merge your bookmarks from Safari with the iCloud Bookmarks extension in Chrome, Edge or Firefox.

Microsoft Apps
@globex @javier It is but it’s finicky at best and outright horrible at worst. I’ve had to restore passwords several times because it would sync to a new setup and instead of copying to the target it would copy from and erase the cloud sync.
@jxmullins @javier Oof that sounds awful. I need Windows support and it sounds like the iCloud app ain’t it! 🙂
