Maybe instead of reliving and celebrating the horrors of war with reenactments and platitudes like "we must never forget"...

How about we actually don't forget, do what is necessary to end the current wars, get civilians desperately needed humanitarian aid, stop the march to authoritarianism--which is what caused WWII--and start devoting our resources to saving the planet.

Is it asking too much to redefine remembrance by doing something useful?
