Some days, it pains me that we've built such a useful service, and so few people get to even give it a chance πŸ˜”

I've done everything I possibly could (incuding, more than halving the monthly subscription price), but product marketing is something I personally suck at.

So, I am begging you, the community, to help us out. If you know anyone who would benefit from our social media news and stories aggregator, share this post with them.

Thanks! πŸ™

Murmel β€” Your morning read, already waiting.

The links worth reading, chosen by the people you trust on Bluesky and Mastodon.

@preslavrachev @murmel_social No proof, but I don’t think the Mastodon crowd likes subscriptions.

@nick Personally I'm subscribed to the domain registration for my instance, hosting for my instance, and a monthly Patreon contribution to Mastodon development among other things

I think there's some receptivity towards subscriptions, in the sense that subscriptions are the opposite of ads and tracking and the fediverse crowd hates ads and tracking

@yildo I agree that people are open to infrastructure subscriptions, because sometimes there are no other easy alternatives.

The bar to get people to donate or subscribe for other services is much higher.

You are right though, I think people are more open to subscriptions vs ads and tracking.
