why is it that only some farts smell like poo? it would make sense for all farts to smell like poo or for no farts to smell like poo but there must be a reason why most farts smell like farts while the occasional one smells like poo

@stavvers I always assumed it was indicative of how close you are to needing to go to the loo 😅(poo-ier ones happen closer to poo-time)

something something gas flows through colon, aerates some poo on the way out if it passes by?

I may just be talking out of my bum though 😄

This sounds like the most reasonable explanation actually.

I mean, the furthest form of poo smelling fart would be the shart, which comes from misjudging gas pressure and its disloging ability -- any further and you're just straight up shitting your pants.

@psychoalpastor @Foritus it feels plausible and yet I have done poo-smelling farts when a dump was nowhere near, and sharts which smelled of farts. Further research is required
