In print today in Traveller (The Age & Sydney Morning Herald) - I write about the joys of visiting laundrettes on your travels. Especially if they're near pubs!

(My words are accompanied by an excellent illustration by Jamie Brown.)

Pick up a print copy today; I'll share if/when it also goes online.

@timrichards Love this so much. Some of my favourite travel memories are of downtime with my partner in a laundromat (my partner, who does most of the actual wash, doesn’t feel the same way).

- Schlepping a load of laundry from our hotel in Paris to Le Marais so we could eat delicious falafel from L’As Du Fallafel while our clothes washed.

- Doing a load of laundry at a very gay Berlin laundromat - so gay, only guys got the wi-fi code.
