This is a good metaphor, but one small problem. The people denying the train is coming are also the train.

I think we have to admit that trying to convince them isn't going to be fast enough.

Step one, allow insurance companies to look through social media. If someone puts in a claim regarding damage due to weather and the insurance company find climate denialism, then they get no money.

Same thing with illnesses and anti-vaxxers.

@csstrowbridge @HelgavanLeur I read it as the train-sceptic has been influenced by the train, consumed its misinformation. The train, meanwhile, has built itself a bunker on a remote island (well above sea level), with a large hoard of coal and water.

I like the cartoon except the angel part. We have politicians here that do not care about climate crisis because we are in the hand of god. FFS I want to live now and here and wish the same for all of us and our kids.
