Fast food got to where it is by being significantly cheaper than everyone else.

Now that fast food costs about the same as fast-casual, why would I pay the same money for less-healthy, worse-tasting food?

I can go to the deli counter at my grocer and get a cheaper, healthier, tastier meal than fast food offers.
