@cowtan Thank you! They are such a showy plant when they shoot up those 10' tall spikes. First time I've tried to get a close up shot. I love how so many thorny prickly plants seem to have these very delicate looking flowers. Delicious contrast. A little further away, you lose some detail but get a better sense of the size.
