My wife just asked me to play radio on our livingroom sonos as she's cooking. Took me 5 minutes to figure out how to do that with the new app. Thanks for not posting your "connected smart speakers are bad" comments. It is annoying enough without them.
@jakobrosin at least the main screen kinda sorta reads now...
@talon It does. I guess its better than the basic support, where we all got just one silent element filling the entire screen
@jakobrosin not only that, but if you were swiping around to actually get somewhere, often it would just be like... haha nope! and put you right back at the top. :( :( :(
@jakobrosin Other brands are making trouble as well. My denon heos app is in some way usable", I can start a stream, from tunein but there seems no button to go back to the previous screen whrewhere you can browse stations. So eevery time I have to kill the app in the appswitcher and re-open it to select an other station.
@jakobrosin Might the Sonos Voice assistant be a solution there? Particularly for streaming services it seems to work OK-ish for me
@zersiax yeah, good point, it would, but not for estonian sounding radio stations. actually. So still an issue.
@jakobrosin heh, ahh the joys of multilinguality :) would be good if you could give those aliases ...ehh, we can dream
@zersiax to be honest I could've used home assistant for that as well. Its pretty straightforward in there.
