I just loved that you told us upfront, that made my sketchnoting life so much easier with a lot less worries how to manage the constrained space I have and still capture the talk well-ish enough - as I tend to run out of space and then folks drop further gems 😅 So here's my time to say this: my sincere heartfelt thanks to you for this absolutely wonderful keynote - it's been resonating with me way more than I can express and I believe way more folks need to hear it! 🙏🏻

@lisihocke I’m so glad. I knew it was going to be hard to be authentic but I *really* wanted to get this message across. I realised that if I was super-explicit and -open at the very top that would stop me worrying about everything else. (I also stole some inspiration, ok, a LOT of inspiration, from how Hannah Gadsby opened their show “Douglas”.) Once I’d borrowed the “this isn’t the talk, it’s the preamble” idea I knew I was onto something. The bit about sketch-noting followed.💅🏻
