Apparently Libra wolf has an issue with scoop or something so that means it's not registered as a web browser I can't set it as my default browser and the solution to fix this issue is way over my head involves making a text document and pasting this incredibly long registry edit with file paths I do not understand or know how to translate to my system and it's just really complicated to do

If any of you were wondering this is the solution it is indeed a solution...

okay turns out I was wrong the installer doesn't use whatever hell I just needed to run the installer again and I was able to set it as my default browser without any issues xD
@epicEaston197 FYI this is an issue with Scoop, NOT with LibreWolf's official installer.
@cyrus
huh sorry for the misunderstanding I'll edit my post thanks for informing me
@epicEaston197 you're welcome!
@cyrus
I do wonder though why was the GitHub issue I linked closed then?
@epicEaston197 pretty much just because Scoop is designed to do as little changes as possible, so they closed it because it isn't an issue with the package
@cyrus
I was able to make Libra wolf my default browser on previous versions perfectly fine.
Is there a way of doing this now that won't melt my brain?.
@epicEaston197 for one, just using the official installed or the MS Store version 🥴
@cyrus
really don't want to use the Microsoft Store...
I don't know how to port my browser data to it I've been doing it this really scuffed way to where I just delete the files in the current profile and I replaced them with the old profile files xD
@cyrus
I can't find it on the Microsoft Store anywhere lol
