ffs if I paste a mailto: email address url into an application's field that accepts email addresses then just fucking use it and don't fail because it starts "mailto:" ok?

Even slack does this badly. Invited some people to my work slack and it failed silently because it didn't parse a mailto: properly.

@danhon I still lose my mind when I paste an email address into an email address box with a leading/trailing space and it tells me invalid format.
