Interesting concept, however I'm not sure it really achieves it's goal if the sources being linked to have the things you're stating that you're avoiding (eg opinion, AI content etc).

For example one piece you linked to says:
"a rare overhaul for Mr. Putin, who tends to avoid rash changes"

What's that if not an opinion, rather than an established fact?

How will you ensure you're not linking to AI generated articles?

I don't intend to knock the effort. I'm just curious!

Me too. At least I'd like to see what content it brings to the table. My instance unfortunately made a decision early on not to. I'm hoping they'll review that at some point and give it a try.

@Daojoan @theindex what is the selection criteria for news to make it to the feed? unless it posts every news from everywhere, selection is already an opinion.

@Daojoan @theindex Lot of folk seem to be getting stuck on this having an opinion. It says no opinion pieces, not that it lacks any opinion as that'd be something else, this is about giving you some news without trying to decieve you through clickbait tactics or falsified information.
