Thread 1/n Here's some pics of my next P90 inspired split coil #guitar pickup design.

Adjustable polepieces, opposed magnets under the string. These magnets are neodymium since they are readily available and compact and because it's very hard to get alnico in the right size, however I have experimented with breaking longer alnico bars with some success.
