@TheRightPodcast

do you have a source list for this? there's several topics I want more info on.

particularly the protesters getting executed for spying and the 2014 unity government.

Can the 2014 unity government explain why فائق المبحوح (the police chief killed at Al-Shifa) had a Palestinian Authority flat in his office? or at least that's the only thing I can fit into what's partly visible there?

There's a gazillion ways to Romanize his first name: Brig. Gen. Fayek / Faiq Mabhouh.

This report was used in a number of articles. The Guardian for instance reported but other media outlets as well https://www.amnesty.org/en/latest/news/2015/05/gaza-palestinians-tortured-summarily-killed-by-hamas-forces-during-2014-conflict/

thanks

i thought you said 30? was that an update including others or just rounding?

the other interesting bits were the interrogating journalists and the shootings at the food distribution, when were they? do you have sources for those?

i got rather confused by the time line, there were two violent conflicts first in 2007 ish with Fatah and then in 2014 they reconciled with Fatah and were fighting Israel?

cc @kmpiw @WesternPacific

@[email protected] the first conflict was after the initial attempt at unity government failed and the Mecca Agreement occurred. Shortly after Hamas and Fatah had an internal struggle for power with Hamas forcing Fatah representatives out of Gaza and consolidating control. Later, in 2014 the Gaza War occurred involving Israel which resulted in many of the key narratives heard in the latest 2023/24 conflict. I’ll get those sources once I’m back on my home computer.

@TheRightPodcast

What weren't they just a majority government?

I think Faiq's flag might be that both sides consider themselves the legit representatives of the State of Palestine?
