Biden ran unopposed because he’s already been crowned. There wasn’t even an “undecided” on the ballot.
So lots of Dems voted in the Republican primary because that was the only one with a presidential choice.
If you a Dem in Indiana or other primary states only 4 months before the primary is over, you’re one of the states that the DNC doesn’t give a fuck about.
That’s why Indiana only goes Dem.for candidates like Obama they believe will help them.
Biden ain’t that.

It’s incredibly common, has been for decades.
But I said a couple things. And you weren’t specific on what party you wanted a source for, so I just had to guess, and I got it wrong this is very inefficient
Indiana it’s public record which ballot you take.
So someone could theoretically compare that to the party registration, but this misses all the people who are Independent but typically vote Dem.
In any case, it’s not something I can just grab two days after the election and do myself for a social media comment.
