Within six months, my tattoos had climbed past the borders of ballgowns and I was making a living as a sometime music promoter, sometime pole dancer, fulltime gothpunk. Also I turned out to be trans. In the early 2000s, I was NOT led to believe any of this would have been possible if I had taken any of the paths on offer via Ms. Horne. I've never regretted my decisions, but glad there are more choices now.
