60sRefugee@androidarts For recoil managing purposes it would make the most sense for mecha to have their guns mounted at hip level; but it just looks too phallic.
@60sRefugee Probably, yeah. Though some of the weapons are energy weapons, or missiles, so who knows with those. The commonly occurring Gatling guns can probably be slightly leaned into and compensated for. Big battle cannons would be more of an issue. Having the mech stutter and pivot could actually be a cool tactile effect.
