Certainly looks like an infrared image.
I think the ferns would be more of a pinkish hue.

Would it be possible to make blender render an accurate infrared wavelength filter?

Would it just be a colour filter or would you have to add infrared data to every material?

Honestly curious as still an amateur to blender.

It would require emulating an electromagnetic spectrum energy that we cannot visually detect, and then forming a picture out of it.
