There are 600,000 children in Rafah. They have nowhere else to go. If you support an invasion of Rafah, you're saying the lives and well-being of those children don't matter.

If you saw those children as your own, opposing the invasion wouldn't be a question. If you don't see them as your own, it's because they've been dehumanized to you. Otherwise no person with a conscience would look at an innocent child, let alone 600,000 innocent children, and agree they deserve to be bombed and killed.

I'm reminded of the ever prescient wisdom of James Baldwin:

"The children are always ours, every single one of them, all over the globe; & I am beginning to suspect that whoever is incapable of recognizing this may be incapable of morality."

We must restore morality & humanity by upholding international law & protect these children.

This isn't a complicated decision...for people with a conscience and moral compass.

@QasimRashid @msbw
This is the same country that separated fleeing migrants from their children as a “deterrent”.
@paninid @QasimRashid @msbw The same country that used napalm on East Asians, killed a democratically elected leader in Chile, sponsored coups in Latin America and Africa, supported Iraq, gave money to Bin Laden, supported the Nazi regime in South Africa and funded that regime's brutal wars in Angola and Mozambique. Times change but America remains evil

@QasimRashid

There was a ceasefire in place on Oct 7.2023.

That a brutal invasion was determined to be the only solution to centuries of warring factions vying for territory in an unstable region where religious beliefs were always deep seated aginst another, created this tragedy.

Where a terrerorist group can grab people from their homeland & use them like a cash acct to bargain with while Arab nations next door do nothing but watch, the value of life in the region is only worth that much.

@Misterhighwasted @QasimRashid >> centuries of warring factions vying for territory in an unstable region where religious beliefs were always deep seated aginst another

This is not the cause of the current conflict there. Spouting this nonsense along with what you think is *subtle* anti-Arab rhetoric just shows that you are, at best, unserious

@MisuseCase

Haaha.
Not agreeimg with your pov is unserious only to you.

Golda Meir was correct. Truth has played out stunningly as every arab big fat oil rich nation sat by & did nothing to evac or shelter the gazan people with all the resources they have availible. What is a human life worth to all of them?
A shield? A means of trade?

They didn't care about lives lost.. Because killing & stealing is what terrorists just do.
Because they're Terrorists.

They hate more than they love.

@Misterhighwasted Yeah Golda Meir said all this stuff while she was overseeing brutal displacement and repression of Palestinians so her famous quote can be read as an excuse: “those savages don’t love their kids anyway so it’s fine if we hurt and murder those kids.”

You are historically illiterate. Thinking that the current conflict is somehow centuries old is nonsense that I don't think I've heard from non-Americans.

@Misterhighwasted @QasimRashid

@QasimRashid I don't know of many people aside from Netanyahu and his cabinet and generals who approve of invading Rafah. Even Biden is telling him not to do it.
