The CDC under Biden dropped the Covid isolation period from "5 days" to "vibes days." Not Trump.

👨🏿 If you apply that logic to yourself, that means that you shouldn't go around online telling Black folk "Trump is worse so shut up!" You should at least pretend to listen to Black folk.

@mekkaokereke Trump is worse. There is no positive alternative to Biden. Another four year term for Trump is a deathblow to this country for everyone.

I genuinely can't tell when anyone is or isn't being satirical anymore. So this may be a wild overreaction to your comment. But I really want to say this somewhere.

Surely you get how this kind of generalization both misses the point and helps no one. Right?

I'm sure there are some of the "Biden forever!" crew who genuinely don't give a fuck about what's happening in Gaza, but I imagine quite a lot do. I sure as hell do. There are lots of real and significant reasons to object to Biden and I share many of them.

But what I _don't_ get is how people can look at project 2025 and not see something we've never seen before, something totally unique to this election cycle, a real and direct existential threat to the existence of America. We're not picking a candidate. We're voting for or against _revolution_.

And I'm sure there are some people reacting this way that are doing so because they really do want revolution. If someone is voting for revolution because of Gaza, I do not understand how they value life. Revolutions do not typically proceed peacefully, and this one will most certainly not.

@mekkaokereke How is it on me to change the behavior of a fellow human being ? I'm no fan of Biden on many things, but not voting for Biden is equivalent to giving Trump a free run at the presidency again. I don't want that. You shouldn't want that. If Biden does get re-elected, then he absolutely should listen to what's being suggested and not ignore it.

Again, thanks for clearing that up for me! Your clear and persuasive points made over short form text on the internet have proven more effective than listening to Black folk! At this point you can consider my vote locked in for Biden! 👍🏿

This was surely more effective than listening to Black folk, or talking to any of the racist white people that will vote for Trump, or than pressuring Biden! Bravo!

Now, there are only about 20 million more Black men to reach! Godspeed!

People like you are so predictable. You don't listen to, or even pretend to care about Black folk. You just yell "Trump is worse!" And then when you don't get your way, you swear at us, or say, "You deserve the genocide that's coming to you!" or block us.

Ask yourself why you're really so angry.

Y'all know that I post about criminal justice reform, a lot. And I have law enforcement officers and police chiefs that follow me online.

I get sworn at, yelled at, and blocked, more by "white liberals that aren't in community with any Black people," than by cops.🙂🙃

Why do y'all think that is? ELI5.

Cops don't even cry to me about, "Don't criticize law enforcement! Wah!" Occasionally one'll say, "Sure that happens, but you're wrong about why."

But I get "Don't criticize Biden!"🤷🏿‍♂️

All you want to do is make generalities and claim what you want. It's disappointing, and I've no time for you. Keep being mad and angry, if that's what fuels you. It doesn't do it for me.

I don't care who you think you fight for on a regular basis.

I care how you came at me in my mentions before calling me an asshole. You came at me exactly like the other people I referred to in the original post.
