@Bit_form Neat! Would you want to share how you did this?

@Huubje yeah! I usually take photographs of things around me and use GlitchLab on android. I use photobashing as a technique by displacing and arranging the R,G, and B of the image in separate places to form new images, while keeping other elements intact. I find it imoortant to make a serious effort to depart from the original image, but someyimes elements are too good to keep alone. I try to explore through different effects for every image. I don't have a mind's eye (aphantasia) so I'm often working the elements until I build layer upon layer until I feel like it's complete.

This is a really quick and dirty way for still images, but I also use datamoshing in video elements, and do experimental animation with video and 3d models using blender and avidemux. Check out my artist website for the video stuff!

@Bit_form my minds eye comes in two colours: pitch black and less black. There's dozens of us!
I've been messing around with ffmpeg, it's super powerful. With a few steps you can basically do anything; it would be great if my current script wasn't fundamentally broken haha.
Have you tried working with alternative colour spaces like YUV?
@Huubje I think I probably have through the app, but I don't read the labels a whole lot while I'm using it. There are a few "retro" settings that do mimic analog and CRT elements, but colors pace may be within the colour settings.
