@xvf17 thanks for asking. I knew Goslings was the family name but I didn't know about the black seal part - so looked up.
Turns out it is from a play on words for the black seal(ing wax) on bottles*.
(Would be funny to have a tiny duckling/gosling tossed about, hovering over the tip of the seals nose)
