Yes. Tens of trillions have tricked upwards since the elections of Reagan and Thatcher.
Those resources that money is proxy for, could be used to meet Physiological [air, water, food, heat, clothes, reproduction, shelter, sleep] and Safety [health, personal security, emotional security, financial security] needs of the bottom 90%. Some of the 90% would use their freed time and attention to making the world a better place.
