This is an incredibly narrow result, Labour nearly won it.

Lib Dems and Labour will both be pleased with the swings in an area which includes several target seats for both of them.
However, for the Lib Dems this result also suggests that they're not doing a great job of squeezing the Labour vote in constituencies/council where the Lib Dems are the main opposition to the Conservatives.
