I have spent a lot of years in journalism, and I have to say this is spot on. The response to protestors by Columbia University (and University of Texas, Austin) has taken us back to 1968. It feels like we're one misstep away from a Buffalo Springfield song. #TinSoldiers #columbia_university #Protests #FourDeadInOhio

@Sameagle Funny really - the students of Columbia were encamped on land stolen form the Lenape Indians who have petitioned the courts to allow them to return to their traditional lands in New York.
The Lenape are currently parked in reservations in Oklahoma and other places. Pity they don’t teach history or ethics at Columbia University”
@frankcat Good information. The Lenape are not well known, and Ii did not know their historic lands included any of the university. I really only had a vague idea that they we originally in the Hudson Valley Most Americans probably have never heard the word Lenape unless they watch the CBS series "Ghosts."
