Wahl apparently had feelings for Guy since the beginning but refused to face what they were.

It’s almost a sweet moment, except I’m distracted by the fact that the actor for Wahl is apparently double jointed. And I can’t help but stare at his elbow being bent backwards at what would be at best an extremely uncomfortable position for this entire conversation.

Wow. Guy really just threw Wahl off the bed like that, huh.

… uh. Is Wahl still alive? He just fell and didn’t even say anything. Just isn’t on screen anymore.

Seriously, did he die? I mean, I know he didn’t bc later scenes but I’d be very concerned if I tossed a drunk friend off the bed and they stayed there completely silent after.

Tew confronting Kenji.

Meen is really selling it. I love this. I will be back with screenshots.

Paiboon really was an asshole though. It’s also not surprising that Kenji redirected all that resentment to Tew.

Tew casually— haha just kidding, not casually at all— stepping on Kenji’s stab wound.

Reminder: Tew is scary. He’s soft for Guy, but damn. Stay on his good side.

Okay everything about that scene was great. 10/10 no notes. I’m surprised there were no edits. Or, if there were, they didn’t show up in any of my feeds.

Kenji sure is sounding brave like he wasn’t screaming in pain earlier. But what’s the bigger problem? I know the bigger project, but that’s less of a problem and more an opportunity, no?

Oh wait! Unless Paiboon has sent people after him since he’s still alive.

Guy really let Wahl sleep on the floor where he fell, huh?

Okay. Like, I understand the shove, but there’s a sofa right there. (And the part where apparently Wahl immediately “fell asleep” after being tossed?! Like, that’s the only reason I can think of for the lack of reaction after being thrown.)

But anyway, Wahl just sitting up now that it’s morning and looking around like: huh?

Wahl earned the right to sulk, tbh.

Okay what’s with the boyfriend shot of Tew holding a bag of jok, making eye contact with the camera and smiling—

Ah! He’s trying to rehearse getting back together with Guy. Pffft.

Oh no! I didn’t realize he was just about to come back to him! Then Wahl showed up and he did the wrong arithmetic!

He looks so heartbroken.

Look, not to criticize Paiboon’s leadership style, but exactly to criticize his leadership style: I fail to see how making Kenji kill himself on command proves he’s willing to work alongside you, faithfully.

Those are, like, two different things.

I did not expect Kenji to pull the trigger.  he’s fine, but…   That’s a hell of a bluff, if that even was one.

And now the plan becomes clearer.

Wahl: “I want shabu! Let’s go eat shabu!”
A few moments later
Wahl: *orders everything but shabu at a restaurant that I don’t even think serves it*

No wait! How did Guy lose the “knowing what my friend likes to eat” contest? Awkward.

Wahl is really determined to impress upon Guy how much he likes him.

Wow this show is making me feel bad for Wahl. lol Not that he didn’t earn this. And nobody is entitled to anyone. But he’s trying so hard and falling flat on his face.

Tew is giving me a headache. lol He’s willing to just be in limbo I guess. No longer part of the mafia world, no longer part of Guy’s world, or the game. He’s worried about Guy being in his world, but like, he’s worldless right now.

(I’m not like, complaining from a characterization angle, incidentally. Also yes good angst.)

He thinks he’s been completely replaced and looks like he’s gonna cry, but still like: this is a good thing. Help!

Oops. Wahl saw the reconciliation.

And Boss blocking poultry.
