I collect old postcards with pictures of trolleys. This one was tempting, but the asking price of $129 (!) is a bit steep for an old postcard. Nothing to stop me from grabbing the scan off of eBay and sharing it with you guys though.

This shows tracks of the Watsonville Transportation company at Port Watsonville, CA (there is a still a place by that name, but it seems to have migrated a few miles north along the beach). There's a Wikipedia page with a map of the exact spot: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Watsonville_Traction_Company

The WTC was an electric railway that ran from Watsonville to the ocean. It's main function was to get agricultural products onto boats, but they also ran excursions to the beach, where there was a dance hall.

I have a webpage showing postcards that I *do* own here: http://trainweb.org/trolleypostcards/

That's some authentic 1990's handcoded html there, too. It started out on #geocities

No way--archive.org has a 2002 version of my site on geocities:

No real reason to browse--I never "redacted" any postcards.

But my custom gifs are preserved for the ages at least.
