@alterelefant But that's the thing. They're not joking. They're trying to get ahead of the mockery (something they would do, projection) by "owning" the fact their orange God emperor sh**s his pants. This is them recovering their pride.

I feel weird even typing the word "pride" here as I fail to understand the applicability of that word in this context in any earthly way, yet it somehow exists in their heads nonetheless.
