KevIt continues to be extremely disheartening that my inexplicable American accent Others me back home (it's only gotten more distinct since moving to the States, which I guess was to be expected, but that doesn't explain the first 27ish years of my life).
It's going to be worse when I get to Malaysia. Always was. Part of why I left was because I just couldn't be perceived as Malaysian by other Malaysians (unless they were also mixed)...
