Heading to #Chicago this weekend. Haven’t been in a long time. Any good foodie recommendations?
@bethbjammin the gundis kurdish kitchen!
@bethbjammin moved a few years ago but used to love Giant, Daisies, and Le Bouchon, all appear to still be going strong.
@bethbjammin the places I miss the most: loba coffee (I think about their pastries often), scooters for custard, frozen Negronis and vibes at the Logan sq parsons. Piccolo sogno for the patio. Tango sur for steak. Hopleaf for beer and the cbj.

@bethbjammin What neighborhood/area? Eater’s list is always good to browse but if I had to recommend knowing nothing, Lula Cafe in Logan Square is a chill spot with great food

@clifff Thanks. We are staying out in the burbs near family but plan to spend all Friday downtown. Have no agenda due to iffy forecast.
@bethbjammin @clifff Lula Cafe is amazing, great recommendation
@bethbjammin Wiener Circle for a chocolate shake is a must
@bethbjammin I’ve got a couple fun places for you! Kuma’s Corner has truly magnificent burgers with hilarious names in a heavy metal setting bar. It’s truly unique. I’d also suggest The Purple Pig is also a hoot. “Cheese wine and swine” is their motto and they deliver on all accounts. Bon appetit!
