VYVANSE FRIENDS READ THIS

Call the number on the back of your insurance card, tell them you can’t get your medication, and ask for an override.

Spouse’s dr could not get BCBS to budge but the second I called the company, they put in an override. It’s Sunday so it will take a day or two to process.

The rep told me that yesterday the only thing she did all day was process Vyvanse overrides. This is madness.

I realize I am very privileged to have very good health insurance. If you are struggling, Shire (the U.S. manufacturer of Vyvanse) does have a patient assistance program. I realize ADHD people are famously terrible at paperwork, but it might be worth a shot.

@jurijuri isn't it great how the whole system of getting the meds to treat ADHD is seemingly designed to specifically thwart people with ADHD?
