I installed KDE today 😊. I'm planning to use KDE and only KDE apps (except for Firefox) at least for a week.

(I installed every KDE app available on archlinux, [plasma, kde-applications] groups)

That means sorry neovim 😢. Kate is my text editor/IDE for the next week 🥳. I'm already liking the vi implementation of KDE inside Kate and KWrite 😉.

Yes it takes a little more resource than Gnome 😩 (Which I was using for a month or so). But I'm OK with it 😃.

I'm so excited 🤠.

@ifiinlist It's been a while since I've used KDE but one of the things I remember is just how unexpectedly good Kate is.

@ifiinlist Kate is wonderful. You'll love it, especially after you've tweaked everything to exactly match your preferences.

@royal YES! I had to tweak a lot of stuff when I started using Kate 😊. But after that it's been flawless on it's job 💗.
