Having had to use the USB-C port on my phone for charging a bit again the last few days, I'm reminded just how shitty this new "standard connector" type is.

With this one, I frequently have problems where even slight wriggling of the connector (e.g. bumping the cable) will cause a disconnect.

Am starting to think again that really the world should've standardized on Apple's lightning connectors instead - even as someone who doesn't use or generally like Apple's products
