Seems like someone visited Bavaria.
#meme
@Wifi_cable bavaria aka germany's texas
@Wifi_cable #nimby principle, which means: "Not in my backyard". Or as we say in Bavaria: " Nicht in meinem Bayern!"
@Wifi_cable @bookstardust I dig this comic. Except I wonder if in the final panel, the person should have been like 100 miles away from the windmill. "My back yard!" Yeah, uh huh.
@Wifi_cable When we go for a walk, a group of wind turbines are in clear site. When I go for some hikes, we're within a few yards. The modern ones are graceful, and I believe rather beautiful--and slow-moving to avoid killing birds. I love 'em. OK, I'm in California, where we seem to believe in renewable energy...
@Wifi_cable In Bayern is not so strange anymore, but try to visit Poland. There you will see and hear some even more crazier shit. 🤣😂
@Wifi_cable This paints a different picture of nuclear - in reality, it's even safer than wind (including accidents):
