That's very much not true. I read the Israeli press and I'm in touch with my relatives. I also know Israeli TV works hard to hide the pictures we see every day from their viewers, but that propaganda wall is crumbling.

You also mistake the trauma response to 10/7 as policy preferences of Israelis writ large. They are crystal clear that Netanyahu's gambit of facilitating Hamas' control in Gaza was an unmitigated disaster they damn sure don't want repeated.

IDF intelligence *dismissed reports* of Hamas practicing before 10/7 because they felt it was inconceivable.

The Israeli national security apparatus believed the Palestinians were subhuman and incapable of practicing *doing the thing that they did*.

The Israeli public had a demonstrable lack of confidence in Netanyahu before 10/7.

Now, #GazaDelendaEst is his way of staying in power and avoiding prison.
