Calico Jack – different and sadly shittier historical figure, but the rum is damned drinkable for the price.
Nelson was a huge proponent of slavery so I don’t know how much worse Calico Jack could be.
Throwing Appleton Estate in the mix cause their low end is a way better rum
I never heard of the brand, but I had heard the story.
I can well imagine people paying extra for corpse rum.
