Not for the first time, I have been refused access to my own medical records after seeing a specialist or having tests done due to "Not to be released to a third party" clause.

It is especially difficult when you are #ActuallyAutisitc and memory in high-stress situations can be unreliable.

Also how is it the actual patient is considered a #ThirdParty?

To make matters worse, the original specialist wants a 2nd opinion from another specialist in my team.

Yet, due to the clause, I can't even request that they get the OG report. Instead, I need to rely on a "down the grapevine" summary/vibe from the GP.

Please note that in this instance, I was able to get a copy of the report.

But I should not have had to fight so hard for it. I ain't got the spoons.

We ain't got the spoons y'all. Be better.
