Not for the first time, I have been refused access to my own medical records after seeing a specialist or having tests done due to "Not to be released to a third party" clause.
It is especially difficult when you are #ActuallyAutisitc and memory in high-stress situations can be unreliable.
Also how is it the actual patient is considered a #ThirdParty?
This morning, my client played their best game of Scrabble yet against me.
Then I interrogated some data.

1/2 Do you struggle with #dentist #phobia due to experiencing a lot of pain when seeing them? Maybe you are #autistic / #actuallyautisitc as it seems to disproptionally affect us?
My mate was about 48 years old when they found out that the anestetic they had gotten before, did not work for her, at all.
Until then, ALL the dental work she had, she had basically without anestetic. Even gum surgery.
To call it a phobia is not right. It is like saying you develop a phobia toward torture.
Those few years ago, she finally got a dentist that said "oh, it does not work, I need to use a different anesetetic"
The solution was that f..ing simple. All pain, GONE. She had previously been told she was "too painintolerant" and "a crybaby" and whatnot.
I lost so much respect for so many dentists that day.
We had even gone to "expert at giving you as little pain as possible" dentists, dentists bragging about "caring for those with dental phobias"
