@hbren I think that something that is overlooked a lot is that they literally did what they needed to to survive, and sometimes I wonder if that is where a lot of disconnect comes from. For many of us, it was not a fight to take the path that society had deemed "the right one", but they had to fight tooth and nail to survive in the environment that surrounded them, where those in it believed one way, and the rest looking in said they were juvenile delinquents w no future, and treated them as so
